Not really a champagne sippa but I’m sure the ladies will enjoy this, and the price.

Will copper be the new platinum? Beau Joie is a new luxury champagne launching in Las Vegas this month. The champagne, which has the slogan of Tonight’s the Knight comes in a bottle encased in a 100% copper, hand-crafted suit of armor. Beau is made of 60 % Pinot Noir and 40 % Chardonnay derived from the finest grapes of Epernay, France. The zero-dosage brut champagne has none of the added sugars common in other champagnes. The suit of armor not only keeps the champagne colder longer, but provides improved grip when opening and serving. It has a rubber punt to ensure enhanced stability when pouring.

“BEAU is a statement-making luxury champagne unlike anything previously available,” said Jon Deitelbaum, President and CEO of Toast Spirits, creator of the champagne. “Infusing qualities like romance, chivalry and fun into a stagnant champagne category, BEAU presents consumers an unparalleled luxury experience. The allure and sexiness of the product is unmistakable, and its price point delivers obtainable luxury. When you order a bottle of BEAU, expect heads to turn.”

The champagne will retail for $79.99.

Wow this looks something serious!  I’ve been a MK fan for years since the early Ninetendo and Sega years.  The Mortak Kombat Short starring Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade and Michael Jai White as Jax.  The short, which clocks in just under eight minutes, is a more gruesome depiction of the video game franchise and is chock full of gore and Saw-like cinematography.

Ryan confirmed on her Twitter that the film was done as a favour to her director friend, Kevin Tancharoen, to help him sell his vision to Warner Bros. Tancharoen has had a less-than-stellar track record having directed the Fame remake as well as the MTV-reality show Dancelife.

But if this short becomes a feature full-length, it may very well redeem Tancharoen’s spotty CV as well as inject some life into the ailing video-game-to-live-action mode of film-making.

Yep, another leaked track off of Drake’s upcoming much anticipated “Thank Me Later” album.  The lovely Ms. Alicia Keys really adds an extra dimension with her emotional but silky smooth vocals.  We see more of a sensitive introspective Drake who briefly touches upon relationship issues he has expeirienced in his past.  We also get a brief peak into his past as he speaks on being abandoded at a young age my his father.  This track definetely has hit written all over it…
