The OFFICIAL Jam of the Weekend! “Ashton Martin Music – Rick Ross, Drake, ft. Chrisette Michele
Posted: October 8, 2010 by Maurice in Cars, Entertainment, Hip Hop, Maurice, RapTags: ashton martin music, chrisette michele, Drake, Rick Ross, Teflon Don
That’s right Maurice and Marquess have declared “Ashton Martin Music” the official jam of the weekend! Just because you don’t own an Ashton Martin doesn’t exclude you from bumping this joint in your Chevy Tahoe, Saturn, or your Honda Accord, hell bump this b*tch on your Ipod while riding the train and call it “Metro Music”.
The latest single from Rick Ross’ album “Teflon Don” features the vocals of Chrisette Michele along with Drake. However, the real star of this track is the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League who produced the exceptional beat. Make sure you crank this one up to fully enjoy the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League’s production as you bump this jam and enjoy the weekend. Peace!
A G.O.O.D. Look For Mos Def…

Underground rapper and actor Mos Def has inked a deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. music imprint. This is the latest in many big time signings for Kanye’s super stable of artists. Mr. West recently signed one half of the group Clipse Pusha T. This latest signing has many calling the G.O.O.D. music group the Miami Heat of the music industry. The current stable of G.O.O.D. music artists currently consists of Kanye West, John Legend, Common, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Mos Def, Consequence, and r&b legend Charlie Wilson just to name a few.
For those who are unfamiliar with G.O.O.D. Music its not a record label its essentially a production group which artists belong. The group helps each artist find their own distribution deal. For example, Kanye owns and belongs to G.O.O.D music but his distribution comes through Def Jam whereas Kid Cudi is a G.O.O.D. music artists but his distribution is through Universal Motown.
One thing is for certain this is G.O.O.D. news to hip hop fans that look forward to hearing Mos Def’s lyrics and vocals over Kanye’s classic production. I know personally I would love to see a G.O.O.D. Music group album along the lines of Young Money’s “We Are Young Money”. I guess one can dream…LOL…
Shouts out to and credit to the folks at ThatDownTownKidd.com for the dope pic!

Yep, another leaked track off of Drake’s upcoming much anticipated “Thank Me Later” album. The lovely Ms. Alicia Keys really adds an extra dimension with her emotional but silky smooth vocals. We see more of a sensitive introspective Drake who briefly touches upon relationship issues he has expeirienced in his past. We also get a brief peak into his past as he speaks on being abandoded at a young age my his father. This track definetely has hit written all over it…
